Kelsey-Seybold Clinic MGR Laboratory Ancillary Support in Houston, Texas

Responsibilities

Under the oversight of the Laboratory Services Program Director, the Laboratory Ancillary Services Manager will serve as the Department’s Customer Service Leader, will oversee third party vendor contracts, and manage subordinates engaged in Specimen Recollection Processes and Reporting, and Home Draw Program, for internal and 3rd party lab services utilized by Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. This position will take an active role in any process changes initiated at the clinical, operational, or technical level affecting areas of responsibility as well as participate in surveys and audits.

Salary Range: $ 99,164 - $122,501 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

Required: Bachelor’s degree

Preferred: N/A

Experience

Required: 5 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in clinical laboratory setting or laboratory business

setting in a customer service function

OR

2 years KSC experience as a Laboratory Services Manager.

Familiar with billing and results distribution requirements

Required: Valid driver’s license

Special Skills

Required: Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills

Preparation and analysis of quarterly and monthly reports

Knowledgeable of waived and PPM tests performance and quality control/ proficiency testing and monitoring

Working knowledge of CRM database tools (preferably Salesforce) and are experienced in the sales process

Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to deliver organized and concise

presentations tailored to audience.

Critical thinking skills to support good judgment and decision-making; able to carefully consider impact of

actions on all affected departments.

Excellent time management and prioritization skills- ability to work independently

Flexibility, must be able to work extended shifts or weekends in situations deemed necessary by management
